Landgasthaus zur Rose in Weilrod

Cute little restaurant with rural charm. The food tastes very, very good and the menu changes depending on the season. During the mushroom season there was e.g. a mushroom menu, which I personally like very much. Those who like to eat game will get their money's worth here. The portions are sufficient, but only filling a full-grown man with a starter. The salad is fresh and crisp. The staff is very nice and helpful. The price is justified for the quality of the food. There is a star deduction because we came twice to the opening times without a reservation and the restaurant was already closing. You should reserve by phone in advance, otherwise you will be standing in front of a locked door. All in all a nice restaurant. We'd love to come back 👍

Cozy inn with lots of beautiful outdoor spaces. The food was good, special requests were met without any problems, the service was very friendly and it was clean. We were there twice yesterday. First in the afternoon for a late lunch (which was not a problem due to the continuously warm kitchen) - after a short time we were the only guests, and the tranquility in this small place was simply heavenly. After a walk, we returned in the early evening, and a large part of the outdoor seating was then occupied. If we are in the area again at some point, we will certainly enjoy the hospitality of the "Rose" again.

An inn like in a picture book! Cozy atmosphere, delicious food on the beautiful sun terrace, friendly service. Everything clean and appetizing. The hygiene rules are observed. We always like to go there.

We went there for the weekend despite the Corona time. The two of us were greeted very hospitable and should enjoy a delicious extract of the chef's culinary skills. Here you put a lot of effort into the details. This inn in its original way, as you can find it less and less today, exudes a very special charm and is definitely worth a trip there. An insider tip for us that we will definitely go to again soon, even in spite of further travel. Thanks for the special evening.
